How do I book a cottage with Pitlochry Golf Estate?
You can book by contacting Pitlochry Golf by phone or email or by booking online through our website. We require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking and the balance is payable six weeks before your arrival. We accept all major credit cards except American Express.
How do we check in?
Nothing could be simpler – follow directions to the Pitlochry Golf clubhouse and from there our friendly staff will introduce you to our facilities, give your keys, answer any questions you may have and show you to your cottage. Staff are on hand every day from 9AM – 11PM at the clubhouse and we are only to pleased to help out in any way possible.
What time do I arrive and depart the property?
Arrival time is 4pm and departure time is by 10am. We can sometimes allow earlier entry or late departure but please contact us prior to your arrival about this.
Are the cottages fully equipped?
We supply all linen, towels, dishcloths and tea towels. Complimentary soaps and toiletry products will be placed in the bathrooms on your first day of arrival. Pitlochry town centre has a variety of shops, chemists, and supermarkets to provide for all needs.
Can I play Golf?
Absolutely – we welcome and indeed recommend that everyone plays golf. Tee times can be booked online via www.pitlochrygolf.co.uk. All our Pitlochry Golf Estate guests are entitled to a 20% green fee discount on all golf played.
Do you have a restaurant?
The Pitlochry Golf Clubhouse has a fantastic bar and restaurant just a few minutes walk from your cottage and all our Pitlochry Golf Estate guests are entitled to a 10% discount on all food and bar purchases for the duration of their stay. Our Clubhouse has a bar, restaurant, lounge, sun terrace and live Sky Sports. In the village there is also a fantastic choice of venues to choose from – please see our restaurants page for our recommendations.
Can I bring pets?
Certain cottages allow pets and this is listed in the individual property details. There is a charge of £20 per dog per week and you must bring your own dog bedding. The dog is not allowed into any bedrooms or onto any furniture and must not be left unattended in the cottage at any time. Owners must keep their dogs on a lead while on the Golf Course – dogs are not allowed to accompany guests while playing.
Is Broadband/Wireless available?
All the cottages have Wi-Fi. The Pitlochry Golf Clubhouse also has free Wi-Fi access.
Can we smoke in the property?
We have a strictly No Smoking policy in all our cottages.
Do I need cancellation insurance?
We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance. Part of our booking conditions are that, once the booking deposit has been paid, you remain liable for the whole cost of the holiday. If your claim is covered by insurance, you will be able to claim back all the monies paid less the insurance premium and a small excess charge. Any cancellation made by the Client, for whatever reason, must be made in writing. Our staff will make every effort to re-let the cancelled holiday let but, failing this, the entire rental fee will be payable.
